Is mental health is no more of a bigger deal now than it has been in the past?

Results show that mental health in children and young adults in this day and age is not considered a greater problem than in previous years.

How does mental health affect young people since the millennium in comparison to decades ago where mental health was silenced and unspoken about.

Do factors like pressure at school, social media, upbringing, money and/ or society equate to mental health issues in the younger generation?

In a recent survey someone answered: "I don't think there's much difference to how things were in the past."

However, since the millennium many people have something to say on the influence social media has on the younger generation.

"I think children using mobile phones is a huge problem."

"Social media is definitely a big issue, I always see students using their mobile phones when they should be listening to a lecturer."

If you are struggling with mental health issues, there are plenty of organisations offering support such as Mind UK.
