Natalie Snape
Final year Multimedia Journalism student at the University of Salford, 21 years old from Preston, Lancashire.
I have always loved creative writing, from fictional stories made up in my bedroom to feature pieces for Lancashire Evening Post.
Aside from writing I am interested in PR, communications and marketing.
In my downtime I am an avid reader and painter who is hoping to tailor skills in digital design (editorial/graphics).
Here's my CV if you'd like to take a look or click HERE for the google docs version which can be printed.

Working in the hospitality industry since I was 14 years old, has ensured me with brilliant customer service, team and social skills.
I have a true passion for literature and thus means I am a perfectionist when it comes to creative writing, features and review style pieces, I take a lot of pride in these particular works.
However, that’s not to say I’m not a team player, I will listen to criticism and act on elements which I can approve upon. I am always keen to help others and offer some of my own knowledge or just support.
Within my three year course at university I have participated in Salford University’s QuaysTV, QuaysRadio, followed by my own podcast on Shock Radio and I helped in some major projects of other students. Therefore I’ve been on set as a makeup artist (SFX), news presenter and acted as a tv presenter. I’m familiar with directions, being mic'd up, reading from an autocue and I have a basic understanding of camera operation.
As of January 2021, I have work experience with Manchester Wire and Lancashire Evening Post. I secured my placement at LEP through contacts I made prior to starting university as I took on journalistic work experience before heading into my course of the same nature. Throughout this time I have learnt how valuable contacts and making a first impression are.
